Umbrosa
Skills

When attacking at a distance, Basic Attacks throw a blade that returns to her. She can hit the blade as it returns to bounce it back at the enemy, dealing increased damage with each rebound. When attacking nearby targets, she enters melee mode and attacks faster. Basic Attacks mark targets. Marked enemies take extra damage from Skill 2.

Sweeps the surrounding area, damaging and slowing nearby enemies. Then enters Frenzied state, gaining a major boost to Movement Speed and Attack Speed.

Dashes forward, damaging and knocking back enemies. Also triggers Featherblade marks and spreads them to nearby enemies. Then, throws rebounding blades at enemies in front, dealing damage and recovering Health. Each hit consumes 1 mark to deal extra damage.

Damages nearby enemies and gains Movement Speed. Also enters the Indomitable state for 4s, gaining temporary Health. If she is defeated while this skill is not on cooldown, she resurrects after a short delay, damaging nearby enemies. The skill will then enter cooldown. Passive: Upgrading this skill increases Skill 2 and melee Basic Attack damage. The Indomitable state ends immediately if she loses all of her temporary Health.

Background Story

“Light and shadow, a tapestry of fates interwoven.”
Unlike the rumored Bird Tribe of Misty Marshes, Umbrosa possesses neither sacred wings nor noble character. Only the golden sunlight reflected in her pupils connects her to her past, indicating that she was once the seer Austren. However, when the Bird Tribe fell, she buried that identity along with it. Now, having returned from the abyss, the tattered and scarred Umbrosa has lost everything. In her madness, she imagines that if she can destroy “the root of all evil”, she might be able to restore the true light of the Misty Marshes.
Character Relationships
They were once inseparable friends at the Seerglade Academy, both aspiring to become seers. When they reunited, they found that they were the ones who understood each other's weaknesses better than anyone. Nonetheless, they were destined to part ways once more.
At the Seerglade Academy, Guiguzi once mentored a mischievous student. Despite the passage of time, he still hopes to free his student from the abyss she has descended into. But she can't—and refuses to—turn back from her dark path.
Perhaps it's because they both have bird-like traits, or perhaps it's because both he and Yaria remind her of her past, but Umbrosa always treats Cirrus with warm respect. But in Cirrus' eyes, her unprovoked violence doesn't signify kindness, and her bizarre choices don't indicate care. Rather than an ally, she seems more like a ticking time bomb in Donghuang City.
When she stepped forward to protect her companions, Yaria's bravery ignited a small flame in the darkness of Umbrosa's world. However, Yaria is unaware of the great expectations placed on her, and wonders what strange question that peculiar bird will ask next time they meet in Donghuang City.
A brief glance into the Pool of Shadows stirs forgotten memories in Umbrosa. Driven by both fear and kindness, Dyadia repeatedly tries to read Umbrosa's fate, only to find a tormented soul hidden beneath the madness.
With no one left to interrogate, where does all the anger go? As Umbrosa's gaze lands on Augran, someone who looks nothing like Xun did, a wave of twisted satisfaction washes over her. Meanwhile, Augran is perplexed. He was never taught how to guide those caught between life and death.
Can beings of different species become blood relatives? The absurdity makes Umbrosa want to laugh, but she holds back her sarcastic and cautionary remarks. She realizes there's more going on than meets the eye.
