Patch History
Increased Skill 2 Shield Effect
Reduced cooldown and increased damage from his Passive.
There were many calls to buff Guiguzi during the 'I'm a designer at HoK!' event in HoK Camp. Guiguzi players want to show off how good he can be, but don't always succeed. Hence, we have reduced some of his skill cooldowns to give them more opportunities to try.

Background Story

“Everything has a soul!”
Knowledge is endless. The scholar Guiguzi was attracted by the secrets of the forest's origin, and became a member of the Order of the Seers. Over the years, he researched nature and the Wonders, and passed on his discoveries to the next generation of Seers. However, the more he learned, the more anxious he became... Eventually, he decided to leave the Order and start anew in nature. He firmly believes that a new truth is out there somewhere.

Character Relationships
Guiguzi gave young Yaria a magic staff and taught her how to summon sprites. When the girl walked across barren land, green vines would sprout up. But Yaria was still just a child, and the creatures she summoned would sometimes vanish quickly in a puff of green smoke.
"Great teachers produce wayward students." Guiguzi taught Donghuang everything he knew, earning his student's utmost respect. Both teacher and student once traveled side-by-side in their quest for knowledge, but eventually fell out over the Wonders. They have since parted ways.
At the Seerglade Academy, Guiguzi once mentored a mischievous student. Despite the passage of time, he still hopes to free his student from the abyss she has descended into. But she can't—and refuses to—turn back from her dark path.
Guiguzi took pity on the tragic bird and deer. He transformed the dying bird and sealed the divine power within it, granting it new life. When the bird woke, however, it had lost its sight, wings, and memories. Naturally, he did not realize he had been gifted a new life.
Guiguzi is the mentor to the previous generation of seers, and Qi is the apprentice of the previous High Priest. Qi once visited the wise elder together with his master. Guiguzi observed this young man who was studying to become a seer, and hoped that he would not follow the beaten path.
The forest dwellers love hearing this erudite scholar tell tales that can guide them through life, but Dyadia has always been more interested in the times when he too was lost and disoriented, such as when he fell out with a fellow disciple.
When he "asked the lost old man for directions", the elder helped him out despite his reservations. However, down that path lay more than just the Misty Marshes. At that moment, after a long journey and plenty of hardship, the youngster finally arrived at the closest place to his ancestors.
